West Coast Construction & Development (WCCD) provides property assessments, inspections, documentation, and construction services related to wildfire mitigation, seismic risk reduction, and building resilience. Assessments, evaluations, and inspections are observational and informational in nature only. They are based on visual observations, homeowner-provided information, publicly available data, and applicable reference standards available at the time of review. They do not constitute engineering evaluations, official code inspections, certifications, guarantees of compliance, insurability, or hazard performance.
Where separately contracted, WCCD performs construction, retrofit, and mitigation work in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Final approval, compliance, eligibility, certification, and enforcement decisions are made solely by the applicable Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), insurer, program administrator, or certifying organization.
No Guaranteed Outcomes
West Coast Construction & Development (WCCD) does not guarantee outcomes, results, performance, approvals, certifications, insurance acceptance, program eligibility, or risk reduction for any services provided, including but not limited to assessments, inspections, reports, documentation, construction, retrofit, or mitigation work. Wildfire, earthquake, and other hazard risks cannot be eliminated. While assessments, documentation, and mitigation or construction upgrades may reduce risk or improve readiness, no assessment, retrofit, construction measure, or mitigation service can guarantee the prevention of property damage, personal injury, loss, or regulatory, insurance, or program approval.

No guarantee is made that any property will qualify for or receive IBHS designation.
