Auto-Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy On-Site Assessment and Inspection

Scope of These Terms

These Auto-Booking Terms of Service & Cancellation Policy (“Auto-Booking Terms”) govern the purchase of auto-booked Risk Assessment and Inspection services offered by AQ4 Building Solutions, doing business as West Coast Construction & Development (“WCCD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), that are scheduled and paid for directly through our website without a custom estimate (“Auto-Booked Services”).

These Auto-Booking Terms apply only to auto-booked Risk Assessment and Inspection services and do not apply to custom estimates, retrofit projects, construction work, mitigation upgrades, or services provided under a separate written agreement.

Agreement to Terms

By checking the acceptance box and completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by:

Description of Auto-Booked Services

Auto-Booked Services consist of a Risk Assessment and Inspection scheduled through WCCD’s auto-booking system and are limited to the scope described at the time of booking.

Auto-Booked Services are based on:

  • Visual and observational review

  • Standard conditions and typical site assumptions

  • Reasonable access to visible areas of the property

Auto-Booked Services do not include:

  • Engineering evaluations

  • Official code inspections or certifications

  • Compliance determinations

  • Insurance, program, or designation approvals

  • Repairs, construction, or mitigation work beyond the stated scope

Any additional services or work, if requested or required, will be quoted separately and performed only with client approval under a separate agreement.

Site Access & Authorization

You represent and warrant that you:

  • Are the property owner or an authorized agent

  • Have authority to grant access to the property

  • Will provide safe, clear, and reasonable access to the inspection areas

Failure to provide access may result in forfeiture of fees as outlined in Section 6.

No Guarantees or Outcomes

WCCD does not guarantee outcomes, approvals, certifications, insurance acceptance, program eligibility, or risk reduction.

Wildfire, earthquake, and other hazard risks cannot be eliminated. A Risk Assessment and Inspection may help identify conditions or reduce risk awareness, but no assessment or inspection guarantees the prevention of damage, loss, injury, or regulatory or insurance approval.

Auto-Booking & Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies specifically to auto-booked Risk Assessment and Inspection appointments.

  • The assessment fee is charged in full at the time of booking to secure the scheduled appointment.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment are fully refundable.

  • If WCCD must cancel or reschedule the appointment for any reason, the client may choose a full refund or rescheduling at no additional cost.

  • Where stated, the assessment fee may be credited toward approved work if the client chooses to proceed under a separate agreement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, WCCD’s total liability arising from or related to an Auto-Booked Risk Assessment and Inspection shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service.

WCCD shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

In the event of a conflict, these Auto-Booking Terms control only with respect to auto-booked Risk Assessment and Inspection services. All other services are governed by WCCD’s General Terms & Conditions and applicable written agreements.
