Over 30 Years of Experience 

Southern California faces combined wildfire exposure and seismic conditions that demand a level of technical discipline many regions never require. Our background was built in environments where that discipline was non-negotiable. With more than 30 years of construction experience across the West Coast, our work has required strict adherence to non-combustible materials, fire-resistance-rated assemblies, and code-driven seismic structural detailing. These conditions trained us to think in terms of structural performance, material behavior, and long-term safety—principles that now guide our fire rebuild, wildfire hardening, and earthquake retrofit work in California. Much of this experience was developed during our years as licensed builders in Vancouver, one of the highest seismic-risk regions in North America. In addition to residential construction, our commercial projects required strict code compliance, structural coordination, and consistent execution under demanding standards. These environments routinely rely on non-combustible materials and fire-rated assemblies that align closely with wildfire-resilient construction practices. The owner remains directly involved in every project, providing careful oversight and attention to detail.

Preliminary Project Discussion

Projects begin with an initial project discussion and a limited preliminary review to understand the property, project objectives, and overall feasibility. Information provided by the client is reviewed to determine general alignment and identify potential next steps before any on-site visit is scheduled.

On-Site Visit & Scope Development

An on-site visit is conducted to observe structural configuration, site conditions, access constraints, and environmental exposure. Scope development is based on visible and reasonably accessible areas at the time of the visit and informed by IBHS principles, CEA retrofit guidance, and applicable California Building Code and WUI provisions. For fire rebuild or new construction projects, the visit may also include preliminary site evaluation and discussion of project objectives.

Implementation, Construction & Project Documentation

Construction and upgrades are executed with disciplined workmanship and professional oversight in accordance with the defined scope of work. Supporting project documentation may be provided upon request.
